SCUDDER NEW YORK MUNICIPAL-NYFXX
The fund seeks to provide maximum current income that is exempt from Federal, New York State and New York City income taxes, to the extent consistent with stability of capital. The fund pursues its goal by investing in high quality, short-term securities, as well as certain repurchase agreements.

SCUDDER CALIFORNIA MUNICIPAL-TXCXX
The fund seeks maximum current income that is exempt from Federal and State of California income taxes to the extent consistent with stability of capital. To pursue its goal, the fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in municipal securities and other securities whose income is free from California and Federal income tax and from Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).

SCUDDER MONEY MARKET PORTFOLIO-CAMXX
The portfolio seeks maximum current income consistent with stability of capital. The portfolio pursues its goal by investing exclusively in high quality short-term securities, as well as certain repurchase agreements that are backed by high-quality securities. The portfolio may invest in high quality, short-term, US dollar denominated money market instruments paying a fixed, variable or floating interest rate.

SCUDDER GOVERNMENT AND AGENCY-CAAXX
The portfolio seeks to provide maximum current income consistent with stability of capital. The portfolio pursues its goal by investing exclusively in US Treasury bills, notes, bonds and other obligations issued or guaranteed by the US government, its agencies or instrumentalities and repurchase agreements backed by these securities.

SCUDDER TAX EXEMPT PORTFOLIO-CABXX
The portfolio seeks to provide maximum current income that is exempt from Federal income taxes to the extent consistent with stability of capital.  The portfolio normally invests at least 80% of net assets in municipal securities, the income from which is free from regular Federal income tax and from Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).

A portion of the income may be subject to state, local and the alternative minimum taxes.
